Weeknote 3

Here we are again, at the end of a relatively uneventful week, it’s more challenging to come up with much to say but here are a few thoughts:

• No idea ever leads to change if it’s not shared but doing so doesn’t always feel easy or safe
• Emergence is good but the absence of a target or focus can hamper progress
• Saying “yes” to some things without too much reasoning can lead to the most interesting experiences but being mindful of overcommitting and sapping energy
• The need for greater recognition of the value of deliberative and participatory approaches if we’re to create a more equitable future
• There are pros and cons in everything but it’s easier to ways these up with proper information
• I’m observing a reticence around co-operative structures and community ownership which I find difficult to understand
• The World of environmental sustainability used to be something I knew little about. I’m still a novice but am enjoying learning more about the breadth of opportunities to make a positive impact at a personal level.
